Monterrey, México – February 12, 2025 – DYCSI, is pleased to announce the appointment of Carlos Bonilla as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as of February 10, 2025.
Carlos Bonilla has had an impressive career progression at DYCSI, beginning as a SAP ABAP Developer just after graduating from Tecnológico de Monterrey with a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Systems and Robotics.
From his initial role, Carlos quickly advanced to become a Solution Architect for Core Banking Systems. In this capacity, he designed critical integrations among key SAP modules, including Bank Accounts (SAP BCA), Loans (SAP CML), Accounting (SAP FI), Teller (SAP BCA), and Master Data (SAP BP), as well as connections to approximately 30 external systems. He led teams of 30 ABAP developers, overseeing the development of over 1 million lines of code.
Carlos also distinguished himself as a driven SAP CML Consultant, leading and serving as systems architect on five core banking projects. He then transitioned into leadership roles, becoming Director of Consulting & IT Services, where he played a pivotal role in DYCSI’s growth and international expansion.
As Director, his responsibilities included overseeing global go-to-market processes, developing new business by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, developing and refining management processes for the US Business Unit, and ensuring customer success in Consulting & IT services projects.
Carlos holds a Master of Science – MS in Information Technology and Management from the prestigious Texas McCombs School of Business, further solidifying his expertise in both technology and strategic leadership.
With a strong academic background and years of hands-on experience, Carlos has developed a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic leadership. His deep understanding of the industry, coupled with his proven track record of success within DYCSI, positions him as the ideal leader to drive the company’s next chapter of growth and innovation.
The Board of Directors expressed full confidence in Carlos’s appointment, noting that this transition has been carefully planned and executed. Former CEO, Joe Torres, has been personally preparing Carlos for the CEO role over the past several years. During this time, Carlos has been instrumental in driving DYCSI’s growth and has played a key role in supporting SAP Fioneer’s business development and delivery efforts.
